Saturday... err.. Sunday's trivia

Yes, I know that it's Sunday, but yesterday was really busy. I was looking for a while for some great stuff and interesting trivia. I found this stuff instead:

>>There are more than 45 types of apples.

>>The Monty Python theme song is actually Leichte Kavallerie (Light Cavalry), an operetta Overture composed by Franz von Suppe

>>The shortest war in history was between Zanzibar and Great Britain in 1896.  Zanzibar surrendered after 38 minutes.

>>In 1994 Los Angeles police arrested a man for dressing as the Grim Reaper - complete with scythe - and standing outside the windows of old people's homes, staring in.

>>The only 15 letter word that can be spelled without repeating a letter is uncopyrightable.

>>The "save" icon on Microsoft Word shows a floppy disk, with the shutter on backwards.

>>In every episode of Seinfeld there is a Superman somewhere.

>>Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny) was allergic to carrots.

>>No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver and purple.

>>101 Dalmatians and Peter Pan (Wendy) are the only two Disney cartoon features with both parents that are present and don't die throughout the movie.

>>Studies show that if a cat falls off the seventh floor of a building it has about thirty percent less chance of surviving than a cat that falls off the twentieth floor. It supposedly takes about eight floors for the cat to realise what is occurring, relax and correct itself.

>>When opossums are playing 'possum, they are not "playing." They actually pass out from sheer terror.

>>Non-dairy creamer is flammable.

>>All porcupines float in water.

I think Microsoft should get a new save icon anyway, cause floppys dont really exist any more. and i dont want to know how they found out about cats falling off buildings.

Wow- what an excellent set of facts. I especially liked the Zanzibar war. They should all last so long. I hope there were no casualties.

And now I know why I never use non-dairy creamers.

Hope to see you next week

We used to freak out our cadets by throwing our coffee whitener on the campfires...they make a pop sound, and some really funky coloured flames!
