Family Ties
Everyone in my family likes to play games. Both sides. Get everyone together on my mom's side of the fam, and break out the cards and domino's and we only stop to eat. On my dad's side, horseshoes at every family event. Sometimes things will thrown around between people until something almost breaks. lol. It's great. I love it all.
Yesterday, we had a family picnic (with my dad's side), and low and behold, we played horseshoes. Well, other people played horseshoes. I played some other game that resembled horseshoes except you don't score any points. While doing this, I realized something wonderful. And it is wonderful. I'm serious about that. All members of my family seem to refuse to play a game that would require you to have to put down your beverage. Think about it. Cards. Domino's. Horseshoes. You probably end up putting your drink down just because each of those games seems to take us about 4 hours to complete, and you would drink the whole can/glass/bottle by that time, but it is a choice you have to make. You don't actually have to put it down.
Yeah. I love my family. Saluté.
